The hypocritical irrational nuclear position.
By Pat Hackett
*In the middle east there is one country alone that has nuclear weapons but hasn't signed up to either the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA, safety inspections or to the nuclear non proliferation treaty:-
That country is Israel .
• There is one country in the world that the West has allowed to have a deliberate policy of ambiguity, meaning they can have as many nuclear weapons as they want without any other country having any right to the knowledge of the quantity or whereabouts.(Although different countries will likely have some or all of that secret knowledge)
That country is Israel.
• Israel is a country that has created an Apartheid state and has been allowing Illegal Settlers, inflicting ethnic cleansing and are committing Genocide as recognised by many humanitarian and legal international organisations.
Meanwhile in Scotland the UK and the US have argued that Scotland must have nuclear weapons regardless of the will of the Scottish people because when both sides across the political divide have nuclear weapons then the world is safer. This is the M.A.D. or mutually assured destruction argument.
Back to the middle east America and Britain say that Iran must not be allowed Nuclear weapons (as stated by Kier Starmer) and that argument has been used to help Israel bomb Iran to prevent them building nuclear weapons. This is in spite of the Israeli government's record, unexamined proliferation of nuclear weapons while being found guilty of committing war crimes and of the previous M.A.D. argument.
Clearly our Politicians are being influenced by others who have ulterior motives as there is no rational moral explanation to these inconsistencies.
So a question for our politicians is:-
Do you believe in the MAD argument or not?
Home page:- far beyond all reasonable doubt.
